Extreme Tour and Rotary Centennial Street Comp

The Extreme Tour got started real late, Micah came out flat and did not qualify for the finals heat. Since he'd struggle so much lately in street, and since he had never skated the Lynchburg park we decided to do intermediate. He had a flawless 1st run ollied the 5 stair, feeble grinded the rail, liptricks in the quarters and kickflipped off the manual pad for the ending. His 2nd run was near flawless giving him 1st place.

Halloween Skatefest

This may have been the first mini ramp competition at Woodland Skatepark ever. Micah was particularly excited since this was his home mini and the one he learned on and practices on. The comp was jam style -- advanced only. Most of the rippers were 18 up to the 20's. Nick Jones looked like one of the favorites, but broke his board 15 min before the comp and had to borrow another setup. Case Mahan was sharp with fs smith grinds 5-0 to pivot fakie... Micah unloaded his bag of tricks showing style, diversity and consistency. Case finished 1st, Micah 2nd and Nick 3rd.
